Puntland will attract diaspora from all somali backgrounds.

With the recent hopes of PIM crushed by the new voting system , Puntland must market itself to be a beacon for Somali diasporas looking to invest in Somalia.

With the high level of security in the region and the relative centralization of the regional governnent we will see investment skyrocket if the Puntland govt markets itself well.

We have already seen a wave of internal migration with Puntland residents moving to major cities and towns leading to economic growth.

Instead of possible terrorists, Somali Engineers, scientists and generally educated people should be encouraged to arrive in the region.
