Since 2021 the Water Development Agency carried out the following projects:
- 33 New Water wells built
- 62 Water wells refurbished that includes motors/solar powered.
- 22 Water Catchments built to catch rainwater (these include sand dams)
- 14 Water Catchment areas in progress at present in remote areas
- Water delivery for drought affected areas such as Buuhoodle, Qandala, Nugaal and Mudug.
- Galdogob, Xarfo etc, had new water pipelines installed.
