It is not going to happen to Somalia. Never will happen. Al Shabab is weak. Buy more Drones that'll solve the problem.
Letβs hear some real news, for 15 years theyβve been saying PL is about to secede blahblahblah, we will very much remain part of Somalia, but we wonβt take part in Xamar Jungle fests, that much is clear.

Puntland is part of Somalia and will never seccede. They might as well work with the FGS for the greater good of the country.
If you have no pride or ambitions for South-West Somalia, don't project that onto Puntland.
If Somaliland is not allowed to leave then why would Puntland be allowed to leave?
Puntland is not stealing other people's land, for one. Somaliland was mostly held back, because they faced a strong opposition in SSC, who would want to recognise a 'state' with a disputed territory?
Puntland has a stronger foundation for independence, and we can prove how we've been sabotaged since day 1.

Yep our forced union between the east and south happened due to force and violence after Italy sacked majerteniya and hobyo sultanate with Eritrean and Somali foot soldier assistance. They even used naval bombardment a first to happen in the continent.
Our persecution started in 1880 with sayidka using somalinimo idealogy first and his largest zone of operation was PL territories using dhulbahante forces. 1978 till 1986 thru the SSDF we were persecuted again by siyad barre govt.

We got a break in 2004 to 2009 under the TFG govt of Abdillahi Yusuf and then comes sharif in 2009 till 2012 and he started a conflict over the constitution. Then comes HSM in 2012 to 2016 creating a war with PL and GM because he wanted to destroy the birth of JL.
Then Farmaajo era began 2016 to 2022 who did scholarship and aid isbaaro and Illegally got an extension as he wanted to tear down federalism also. Puntland is a victim in somalinimo and it's always at their expense and I'm welcoming this new development of PL pulling out of this federation untill all sides return to the 2012 recognised constitution in garowe 1 and 2.
While all this was happening Isaaqs were using dhulbahante to stoke a Harti conflict while trying to reach yoocade. They also were hiding in our mountain doing terrorism. Can any clan in Somalia claim this level of hatred? So it's best for Somalis and puntites we go our separate ways. This Somali gang up politics on PL we've had enough.

What if they say they never want to go back to 2012 constitution? Is the Somali union truly going to fall apart? Hopefully they go back to the 2012 constitution though

Somalia is a failed experiment that only existed somewhat from 1960 to 1969, everything after that was a shitshow. Puntland tried to patch this mayd up, but it enjoys being a bakhti.

No, but at the same time being selfish and looking out only for personal interest is not respectable as well.
@Based there was no PL in 97 and was created due to Somalis refusing to come to Bosaso in 97 to hold a national conference and they went to Cairo Egypt which endorsed Ina aideed and Ali Mahdi for the govt. PL state was born due to those circumstances. Now HSM govt violation of the constitution crafted in Garowe 1 and 2 will recreate those 97 conditions.
PL has legal justification we are only part and parcel of a Somali Federation and we recognise only the 2012 constitution, anything outside those political parameters we are sovereign and independent.
Historically PL regions were forced into a Somali union by Italy thru violence and war and naval bombardment after they sacked majerteniya/hobyo sultanates. PL region has suffered the longest persecution under this somalinimo idealogy from 1880 sayid era, colonial era, siyad barre era, USC era, alitihaad era, all the govts up from 2000 to 2024 minus Abdullahi Yusuf TFG era have warred with Puntland either thru politics, scholarship/economic aid isbaaro, or security.
There no place for PL in Somalia and it's in Somali interest and Puntland we just go our separate ways. I can guarantee you once this happens that the south will revert to nakedness like keenadiid found them or the syl found them or how Abdullahi Yusuf rescued them with the TFG.
Mark my words now the whole nation will look like how their brilliant GM and HS looks today with Puntland out of the equation.

What interest is there for us? Like you said yourself, your people don't care, so that's SWS bending the knee, Hawiye seem pro-centralism. So what's left to talk about? The way you're talking, you'd think there was an actual fair and competent central govt.
