Puntland The Only Real Govt In Somalia

Puntland also has 'generational' politics between 20-30 years. Our last generation handed us a 'state' 24 years ago. Now my generation I hope is given their 'time' so we can make 'Puntland' succeed further through a 99 year independence treaty with a 25 year once in a generation federal union review with the SFG. Constititionally As of now federalism hasn't been achieved and instability is on-going in the south. Our constitution allows us the right to 'discuss our future' if those conditions are not met.
I am not saying my model be the only discussed, let everyone bring a suitable model for independence. I suggest '99 year treaty' becuz the international community prefer an 'interim' solution before a final solution to 'pilot'.
We can discuss confederation model which will 'effect' all other 'regions' also which I don't want personally, other regions can have their own relationship with the SFG. We can discuss 'two system one state model' like china n hong kong and see if that can be applied to Puntland.
Their is many models Puntland can 'discuss' but when we look at the pro's and cons of all these systems, you will see why I prefer 99 year 'treaty' and every 25 years doing a 'federal union review'. This allows us to 'stand outside' independent not effected by the south while championing 'federalism' by attending 'federal union reviews' every 25 years and if the situation is the same, we revert back to our '99 year treaty'.
The key difference factor of PL to SL seccession, our independence is due to 'lack of federalism n instability' problems in the south, once those are fixed, we will join the federation. So this can keep SL isolated who wants complete 'separation'. We can tell other somalis who criticize PL independence, that it's their fault why we are independent becuz the south is unstable and federalism isn't been done as planned.

Somalia will never recognise the secession of Puntland region nor will give Puntland any special autonomy that's different to the other FMS. Somalia's federal system is symmetrical meaning all FMS have the same amount of autonomy each and the FGS shall be supreme

How is Federal govt supreme, PL created it, PL existed before the federal government. That's reality talk. The rest of the federal regions are paper-based, that's reality.
Well what is the end goal for Somalia, to be a federation or a confederation? The fairest compromise for Somalia is for our country to adopt the UAE model of a decentralised and collegial version of federalism. I repudiate my former support for confederalism
The ultimate goal is 'federation' as you said, however we don't start federal, we start con-federal as all regional govrnments or if some regions dislike that then PL will have it's own special status of 99 year independence treaty or two system one nation like china n hong kong relationship.
We must start from this 'separate' points and slowly 'merge' over a 'century' time-line into a 'federation'.
Somalia rushed federalism and it's not working as intended. Rushing federalism was a bad mistake as it may not even make it. It's not 'somalinimo' of you to demand PL just sit there waiting for a stable south, that's 'xasidnimo' poltics.
But isn't Puntland to all intents and purposes independent since 1998? You already have special status in reality on the ground but you still are not satisfied....make it make sense please
The only two options Puntland can take to change the situation is to either outright secede like SL or go set up a parallel federal government based inside Puntland territory

Federalism is a failure for sure. We have two sets of corrupt government now that can blame each other for failures

It would be way better if we were just an independent entity, we would get way more benefits than what we are seeing with Federalism.
