Puntland's New Financial System keeps delivering.
Jecliya Transparency and Accountability, it makes my heart sing.
I think if they are found guilty, Puntland should seize all assets belonging to any official who was caught in a corruption scandal, take the amount they stole + a hefty fine, even if their assets have to be sold for this purpose. Also, we should add public lashings as a punishment, prison time is too nice.
- First the Mayor of Bosaso was let go
- Then they busted tax evaders
- Now both the Education Ministry and Planning Ministry are under scrutiny
