Clearly federalism hasn’t worked, every major infrastructure donation is done in xamar and its surrounding areas. You can’t exploit your natural resources independently like US states and give the federal gov their cut as that’s vetoed by xamar. What’s the difference between SL and PL?

Are you guys planning to move back south if so how are you ganna mitigate the demographic issue when the country is not ruled by dictatorship.

If you don’t move south how are you going to mitigate not having influence in a strong federal gov based in Mogadishu more influenced by other clans pushing majeerteenia about like the Kurdish regional state and your region not being a main priority for development?

Also it seems like from all your actions you’re on the cusp of successionism. Is that a serious thing within puntland circles.

Federalism and implementation of the constitution, resource sharing and establishment of a Supreme Court is what PL expects from SFG who have instead done everything to destroy federalism and refusing to implement the constitution.

What’s mitigating this threat? Because surely a country on an arms embargo with 10 million dollar EU donations is not sustainable. Working together for common interests and being a united somalia will not work and our enemies (domestic and abroad) are well versed in our weaknesses so I don't know how PL or somalia in general can progress when the majority have a crabs in the barrell mentality.

I advocate for a more creative and unique solution. Federalism is a western concept and as long we use borrowed ideas, we won't progress. A governance that does not have any loopholes for leeches to benefit from and is run by a group of people with an iron grip.

secessionism isn't popular with older people. They still wanted a united somalia. Younger generation is more divided but if we can continue to build and be great ourselves, i think we can 100% win the secessionist vote.

I understand that but it’s not about minding your own business dad baa ku soo doondoonan. For example if push comes to shove Somaliland will shiraako with HAG and fit like a glove with them which is an exastential threat to puntlands influence and also it’s existence if it gets in the way.

Farmajo and the kacaan folks are also a threat that will eventually come after you when they have the power too.

Somalia is not government by a constitution but by who has the largest gun and a combination of fluid alliances.

Also with the debt relief thing. How will funds be distributed. To get any loans the fed gov and the regional states will have to have a financial union. Puntlands taxes will go to xamar before they’re returned to puntland.

About the distribution say for example Somalia is illegible for a 3 billion dollar loan it won’t be but let’s just use it for an example. How much will each fed state get. Will it be based on population. Will it be divided equally state by state. Will it be divided by the tax collected from each region and the prospective tax once the project is implemented. Will xamar take all of it or the lions share?

Also seeing as the fed gov is taking the loan will puntland be happy with fed soldiers from other regions being placed in puntland where key infrastructure is built so the fed gov has insurance you won’t hijack it?

Also for example let’s say money for a project is given to Somaliland region and the money is wasted or stolen by politicians and the IMF puts conditions for payment or sanctions on Somalia is puntland region willing to receive less of its taxes back from xamar so the fed gov can pay and avoid sanctions?

Dowladnima naga dhexeya there’s a lot of questions to be asked.
