Propose a new identity for Ex-Somalis...

So lately I've been thinking :cosbyhmm: Since the Ex-Somalis have been stripped of their identities. Why don't we give them a new one? Since it would be rude not to do so.

For the people who don't know what Ex-Somalis are:

Ex-Somalis are a group of people that were excommunicated and stripped of their Somali identity for becoming apostates. They are not to be confused with people that have qabiil but were raised as non-Muslim, although both are considered non-Somali since Somalis are an ethnoreligious group.

I'de like you guys to propose ideas for what we would call them.

I say we call them Jahan. More emphasis on the han part so to make it sound a little derogatory.

The name you propose should flow well with the Somali language. For example:

1. Uffey! Waa Jahan

2. Waa Jahan, Jahan dhaley!

3. Alla hooyo! Nin khaniis oo Jahan ah baa sarta korkeed laga soo tuurey.

4. Jahan ka tahey ***.
What do you guys propose?:hmm:

Ex Somali Muslims are still Somali as long as they don’t bash the religion and people.

but the moment they insult Somalis, become self haters or insult the Deen is when they are not Somali and shall be completely stripped of their identity.

It seems like you are the majority that have this typical mindset, to address and refute your fifth grade "statement " that seem you to be profoundly of, we need to understand this issue correctly without using derogatory languages and misdemeanors intended to target and segregate one specific group.
Somalis in general have harsh reactions towards those who renounced Islam either being agnostic , atheist or converting to other religions , xenaphobic tendencies rises and most of maryooleys worlds turn upside down once they witness a non practicing Somali, it puzzles them and they cannot wrap their heads around since they hold this concept that Somali identity was formed under the banner of Islam , hence ourthose who leave the fold of Islam Soomaalinimadi wuu ka baxay, which is illogical and a stupid way of reasoning,
your genetic component, ethnic make up have nothing to do with religious affiliation but unfortunately the majority tend to believe that both are intertwined and can never be separated.
One can doubt his/her faith but can never be open about it, hence many people are keeping it private due to the present day mob mentality and marginalisation of one's differences.

Society should acknowledge there are differences among individuals, not everyone can have the same opinion the same can be applied to religious affiliations instead of displaying resentment for irrelevant reasonings they should be tolerant of one's differences and not overly obsessed with one's irreligious affiliations, which is why Somalis are backwards and light-years behinds, due to being complicit in irregular activities instead of addressing several neglected issues that are a plague in our country.

But we are talking about narrow minded hot-headed people.
It's like talking to a brick wall, so pointless

I'll repeat this again your genetic background , ethnic origin are not intertwined with religion
Lol

Respect their choice.insulting people by degrading them won't do anything except produce more hate. If you want to debate them then get a stage and call them to debate.Otherwise shut your mouth.

Stop with the hate tell this if one of your family members left Islam are those members still your family it can be your kids brothers sisters so on so on
And stop insulting somalis tht are not Muslim and tht didn't insult Allah or Islam or quran or nabi mohamed

What about Somalish?

In all seriousness we need the numbers as we are being invaded from all fronts back home. As long as they serve a constructive purpose and pay taxes, I have no issues.

This world has given us all the tools to destroy ourselves. It will leave you with many questions, I hope they find that the answers they seek. Let's uplift and encourage them. As Muslims we should lead by example and the rest will follow. Who knows they might revert.

All of your points have been refuted niyow. Same repetitive arguments.

This argument has already been addressed multiple times.

Our identity is not based on genetics. It is based on lineage and religion. Read this post of mine. It is a post with all my other main posts on that 30 page thread. It's basically like a summary.

May Allah never turn me or my family members or any other Muslim into a kaffir after they have believed🤲🏽

But if it does happen. I would ask them what caused their apostasy and then prove all of their reasons for being an apostate wrong, but if they become hard headed and blind to the truth like other murtads. I would disown them and never talk to them again in my entire life.

I would make dua for Allah to guide them back to Islam since the dua of the parent is accepted, but if they still remain as murtads, then the excommunication will continue, and if I die, they won't inherit anything.

And what? Let them corrupt the people there. Misery loves company saaxib. They have no loyalties to Somalida. They would use any chance they get to try and turn us away from Islam.

Never underestimate the extreme desire and need a human has for a community.

Even atheists have come up with their psuedo churches. This shows you that everyone needs community.
