Somali culture is interesting one. It's like the Irish of Africa, they live isolated in the interior, their way of life is fixed to seasons, they're communication is one simple tongue and they cherish poetry as a superior way of communication. It's a culture that mastered communication only not much else though and this isn't the fault of themselves or there is no need to go into blame game, your just not located in the right areas of civilization for anything else to progress you.

Your location and occupation basically isolated you away from this. But one horrible and exposed and over-used element developed in the Somali culture, it's the lack of culture of excellence, they don't boast about what they produce, quality, value, and compete on excellence other then poetry. Their way of survival has been to operate as two faces, conniving, treacherous, and decieving.
