He has raised a legitimate question. Why is it a priority to join the EAC when the Somali govt doesn't even control its territory? Instead of attacking his clan, try to critique his question.

I genuinely believe if the EAC removes tariffs from imports between trading members.
Then Arab products you see today will instead be Kenyan made and gov would lose out it's revenue on importations.
