Pro Somalia nationalist becomes Secessionist and pro Ethiopia

ditto

i ❤️ somali men
Even as a joke this is so pathetic. Many of us don’t like the somali government, but to advocate for Ethiopia is just a different type of crazy. Was he even sincere about somalinimo to begin with?

What options do people have? They are stuck between extremists and the incomptent FGS that is getting them killed. They have to hope for some other authority to take care of their needs and interests.

If you can form a competent local authority, then secede, restore your dignity and take care of your needs.

Clans aren't an ethnicity or culture and will never be
socially, they arent. however politically we act like we are different ethnicities in western countries gaals from completely different races even treat each other better.

FGS needs to respect state autonomy, each state has the power to make its own rules and decisions when it comes to certain matters without the intervention of the national government.

We wouldn't be having these issues with secessionist states if we had a working federal government.

The nation's constitution should give specific powers and responsibilities like;

  • Local control(each state has its own set of rules and a constitution.
  • Reserved power( have the authority over things like education, public health, policing and local laws e. criminal, property and family law.
  • Election rules( decide how they want to run their election like, voting procedures and making decisions on local reps.)
  • State courts( control over their court systems that interpret and apply state laws)
  • Limits( while states have a lot of power, the federal laws still have the final if there is a conflict when it comes to federal laws passed through the nation's legislative branch.
