We resemble our Madoow ancestors more and we live in the Madoow continent. Somalis as an ethnic group are ancient enough to stand-alone and not stand under an umbrella for seasoned Cadaan aka Arabs.
It makes more sense for Berbers to claim Arab and even they fight to stand under their own identity and speak their own Amazigh/Berber languages.
We are not pure Arab, not pure North African but we are pure Somalis and that's where we will find most sharaf and sense of belonging.
