She is a research fellow at with the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University. She has a PHD in communicatoon studies and is the wife of the current planning minister(Gamal).

She was the architect of the China deal and her influence in the government all but guarantees Gamal will be the planning minister in the next government.

She seems educated but let's be honest here that china deal was perhaps the worse deal a nation done after the fish for khat trade with Ethiopia .
Never the less shes an intresting advisor It looks like this government will be doing more deals with china in this term .

I really wish Ogaden and Absame were not so proud Somali. I wish we were like isaaq super tribalistic because we have never benefited from being ultra Somali first
