The President and speaker had a dialogue concerning the parliaments role going forward and the electoral process that will likely be concluded in a short time from now. The international community have also welcomed the upcoming Feb 15th meeting that the President has called for between the Federal Government and the Federal member states.

What does this mean

It means that the Federal Government of Somalia's leadership are looking to hold elections as soon as possible and will continue in their roles until an election takes place. There will be a meeting between the FGS and FMS on Feb 15th to continue the dialogue that was going on in the Dhuusamareeb conference.

As of right now the Federal member states of Galmudug, SouthWest State and Hirshabelle are ready to hold elections along with gobolka Benadir. The only two people holding up the process are deni and madoobe due to foreign interests telling them cause instability.
