the reason they are begging for Ethiopians is due to the protection they recieve. FGS is more hostile towards KGS than them believe it or not. Somalia removed their af maay dialect from their government in 2022, injured their players in provincial soccer matches (no other team received this abuse, just them), multiple FGS officials calling for their politicians and MP’s to be executed, and multiple armed clashes with SNA (clan related).

Before all this, they went through a similar genocide to that of issaq clan that nobody brings up. People always ask why SL is so traitorous, SWS can be used as a case study as to how issaq would be treated after the civil war if they stayed.

our brother @Thegoodshepherd was maybe wrong or mistaken but when PL delegated this role of foreign affairs to Somalia, it was from a position all Somalis have the same need in terms of scholarship, health, and other consulate and embassy duties such as visas not security or development partners which is a whole different domain and field.

It has nothing to do with security internally as the sfg was also given only border security since all Somalis share the same security priorities at the ethio and Kenyan border not internal security which they are violating and infringing on.

Plus forget development sector, what foreign partner regional.authorities select to be their development partner is their domain of development, as the regions are independent about their internal security and development partners its not infringing on foreign affairs department duties at all.
