You have entire clans who not only refuse to fight Al Shabaab but actively join them. When the majority of the country is like this, how do you establish order without foreign support?

First off his uncle was likely a terrorist or associated with one. Isn’t it funny how they cry about the ones fighting the terrorists but never complain about Al Shabab who killed more than 600 of them in one day?

In 2006 Mogadishu/south of PL was ungovernable, they set up thousands of roadblocks in Mogadishu and they were even squatting on the airport/seaport. If AY AUN didn’t do what he did, the whole south would still be under terrorist control to this day and would have no presence of any government. It’s funny how people act like using your neighboring country to help is a bad thing when Ethiopia’s TPLF was funded and trained from Mogadishu, although the difference here is the people he was trying to pacify will never govern themselves so they make up every excuse in the book. AY AUN made the right call, and only terrorist sympathizers and their kin are against him.

You can’t negotiate with the ICU aka USC, do you know who their leadership was? Their armed wing was literally called Al Shabab, we are talking about the same morons who said they were planning on celebrating eid in Addis Ababa and that they would conquer Alaska. Why do people defend these terrorists so much after all the bloodshed they’ve caused?
