Second overseas country the President visited after UAE.

President Deni has good knowledge of China as a CEO and businessman as in the case of UAE which he was based in.

Previous leaders travelled to China such as the inept Gaas assisted and facilitated by Khadar Faroole who has links with China

Khadar Faroole will probably accompany the President on this latest trip.

President Deni is perfectly fine to travel on his own though as a seasoned successful accomplished businessman and get the State what it requires.

President Deni flew to China. He thanked the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Embassy in China who facilitated and organised the trip.

The current Foreign Minister Ahmed Issa Awad hails from Puntland.
