It sounds almost Oromo to me, I don't know why. Very interesting
Nah , you can tell the Bantu Influence . It doesn't sound nothing like Cushitic language .

Chadics are weird as hell.

They have a West European haplogroup R1b.

But autosomally, East Chadics (in the middle of the country of Chad) are purely Nilotic, while West Chadics (Hausas) are West African/Niger-Congo with a hint of Nilotic.

An anthropological mystery.

Buhari, the president of Nigeria, is Fulani by the way. They are also another mystery. They speak a Niger-Congo language, but have significant Berber influence on their autosomal genes, unlike the Hausa.

If you didn't tell me what it was, I would've thought Swahili

But my language detection abilities are down to here.

It doesn't sound like Swahili at all. Swahili has these -mimi -wewe -ngo -nwa sounds that you don't hear here.

Many Hausa also speak Yoruba, Nigerian Pidgin, or Igbo, so their phonetics may be influenced by Niger-Congo pronunciation.
