Praying while sick

I feel so ashamed you know we are humans and not perfect missing daily prayers it happens to us all. But I just can't believe there are many strong people out there who who still pray while sick. Those are the real mumineen.

I tried it with the flu and cold it's possible but one time I was sick and my back and lungs hurt real hard. I just couldnt.

What is the ruling on this?
