My sheikh, the esteemed Muhammad Ali Dahir from the noble Majerteen clan, memorised the Quran by the age of 10 and memorised more Islamic poery than the arabs but he knew the lyrics to MJ's thriller too. That's how we lived in the 80s. Enlightened folks with a tusbaax in one hand and the aromatic pipe in the other.
