There was a female poet who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad SAW named Atika bint Zayd RA.
Her first husband was her cousin Zayd Ibn Al Khattab RA, the elder brother of Caliph Umar RA.
They divorced and Zayd RA was martyred at Yamama.
Whilst Zayd RA lived and they were divorced, Atika RA married Abdullah Ibn Abi Bakr RA (obv the son of Abu Bakr RA).
After a small waiting period when Abu Bakr RA forced his son to divorce because he believed the wife was a distraction, they were allowed to be together again.
He died of an old wound from a battle, meaning he was a martyr.
Her third husband was Caliph Umar RA himself. The Caliph RA was assassinated (killed by a Zoroastrian =martyrdom) and once again Atika was a widow.
Her fourth husband Zubayr Ibn Al Amam RA was killed while praying during The Battle of The Camel.
Her fifth and final husband was the son of Caliph Ali RA, Husayn RA who was killed at Karbala.
There was a saying at the time that any man who wished to be a shahid should marry Atika RA.
