[Genesis]

“O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.” Surah Maidah Ayat 90

This verse made me appreciate how Islam has let me avoid a lot of negative things that would have derailed my life. The best way to avoid gambling/drug abuse is to not start and avoid it completely. This is something many people in the World don't understand, which is why they lack principles

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 107:
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

Do you not know that Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that besides Allah you have no guardian or helper?

۞ قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ (53)


(39:53) Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”

This ayah right here. All sins, everything. Just make tawba, and you will be forgiven. Is there a bigger mercy than this. No matter what you do, if you just find it in yourself to ask for forgiveness you will be forgiven. Why hesistate? Go for it.

فَقُولَا لَهُ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا لَّعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ (44)

It melts ur heart how Allah is so merciful and kind to a great sinner like Fircoon

 

[Lum]

Al-Baqarah 2:2
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

(This is) that Book (containing knowledge of previous scriptures) about which there is no doubt (that it is from Allāh)—it contains guidance for the pious (who benefit from its admonitions and abide by its teachings).

Surah Talaq, ayats 2-3:


And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out


And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.
