Somalia is officially 18 million but there's deffo millions more.

Overall Somali-Oromo-Amhara are all hovering around 35 million

Somalis love to exaggerate their numbers for qabil reasons. Ask anyone who has driven in Somalia and they are always shocked at how empty the country is. Same in Ogaden.

Those numbers are probably correct.

Outside of somalia and a few populated pockets in the diaspora it's extremely rare to come across another somali. We're a needle in a haystack in terms of the global population
