There are about five million of them. So about four million do speak Amharic.

1) I'm not a kid.

2) I'm from the Haud, so I would know.

3) I've never met an Amharic speaking Somali. And since most of my family are from the Haud, to say 4 million Somalis speak Amharic is just fantasy. They must be hiding pretty well. Or your mistaking Somali speaking Oromos as ethnic Somalis.
