Does new somalia have a new flag or are we keeping this one.
First I want to start by setting the house in order and reforming Somali governmet into 2 houses,
One house will work like an elected parliament with 1man 1 vote system with politicians running the whole thing. The other house will be a collection of clan elders who mediate domestic disputes like how we used to.
Secondly, I want to put a large chunk of GDP into building up the Millitary and taxing people, with this tax I will build up infrastructure and railroads connecting the country. Obviously since the Millitary is built up to a decent fighting force, terrorist groups will be easily wiped out.
Main issue in somalia is that people holy more loyalty to their clan than to their nation. This is because when shit goes down, they can only rely on their clan to help them rather than the government. So to remedy this I would invest in a police force and increased surveillance to combat crime and keep citizens safe and eventually people will become more loyal to the government.
After the country is safe and has decent infrastructure, I would re write the legal code to give increased property rights and assurances that people can own property without worrying about having it stolen. This is good as it is the Foundation of a developed economy as it gives foreign businesses the confidence to invest in the nation which would generate jobs and wealth in the nation.
I would try copy what china did and open up special economic zones in places like Mogadishu where foreign business can come and flood investment with 0% tax on the condition that they hire only somali workers, this is good as it gives somalis the skills needed to set up their own successful businesses which would then be taxed by the government.
After this is done I would build a defence industry in somalia where we manufacture our own weapons so that we are immune from the weapons blockade we currently have, this would allow us to flood weapons into occupied somali lands such as ogaden and nfd, the plan is to arm them and make them the wealthiest of their respective nations so that eventually they can secede and rejoin Somalia with little issue as Somalia would be sitting across the border with a effective millitary.
This is how I would make somaliweyn a reality however it would take a couple decades to achieve depending on how fast somalia can develop

What would the re somalification of architecture look like?
When I envision a new Mogadishu I think of tall white building in a stylish and of about 5-7 floors or more.
Some white double decker buses.
Train stations.
The light blue sea and the tall white buildings on the Somali coast right next to each other which would be a beautiful sight.

There is also the thing with somali population being only about 30~ million in Somaliweyn which isn't that big of a market.
I also simply want somalis to expand in numbers and landmass but that as for decades down the road when the house is set in order and we saved up enough money to buy extensions

The downside of becoming more developed and improved livelihood is that people procreate less and the birthrate drops. How do you reconcile that?
