That is wishful thinking. Farmaajo inherited a government in shell only. The day he left, he handed over a country with solid security and financial foundations. He funded, expanded and trained the SNA, police, and NISA. Let us see what Hassan Sheekh Mohamud does with the country that he inherited. Let us hope and pray he moves the country forward, so the next president can also inherit a country with solid foundations.
Sadly, Hassan Sheekh Mohamud's choice of NISA has been a disaster. He also needs to stop targeting President Laftgagreen. A sitting president once he seizes power cant have a vendetta against those he didn't agree with. Politics don't have enmities but permanent national interest.

Given we’re in drought, anyone under Shabaab rule can no longer afford to sit pretty. Food aid will not reach you and you will die in your hundreds of thousands. Shabaab are even more insane to blow up wells forcing communities to fight them even more, but they were never long term thinkers. As they lose access to money from Xamar, they will have to tax the people they control even more too.
They are xoolos who do everything possible to make people hate them even more. How they expect to rule the whole country is beyond me. Compare these fockers with Hezbollah who are not only defensive force for Lebanon Shia's but also act as humanitarians. They fund free clinics, fix houses destroyed by Israel etc.

HSM started from the bottom up in 2012 he paved the way for farmaajo to have all the boys trained by turkey and cities including FMS liberated and established. HSM passed the fragile torch to farmaajo in 2017 and farmaajo made it more fragile. HSM will start from where he left off in 2017 to me the past 5 years under farmaajo has been the worst five years for Somalia in the last 10 years
Farmaajo delivered when it comes to organizing, training and expanding the military, Hassan Sh only needs to execute the order and eradicate the shaytaanis
