People must know that secularists have different camps. The only thing we agree on is the removal of religion in the state and that's it. U need to identify which secularist your talking about.
There are secularist pan nationalist, these people only believe in rights for those within their nation and that's it, the SYL was a typical pan nationalist type of secularist and same with all those pan nationalist movement who do not respect human rights but nationality, they are just as backwards as Islamists or Theocracies.
There is secular humanist who promote the idealogy of freedom is an endowed right of human beings and the govt should protect that at all costs and never impose or play sides that infringes on this value system. So this mean u need to accept people u don't like nor agree with but cherish freedoms are above all sides.
Communism, Capitalism, Socialism are an economic principle and has nothing to do with secularism because secularism is something all society has to agree too, it's shouldn't be an idealogical matter. Some can be secular humanist however a communist in their economics, which is a political idealogy, where-as secularism is fundamentally if u believe all mankind has rights and freedom and no-one or the state can infringe on it and they are treated equally before the state not one side given preference.
Siyad Barre was a secular nationalist just like the SYL, he never changed that idealogy of somalinimo and identity politics. He was a strict communist tho economically and he didn't subscribe to human rights as the fundamental position of the govt, he applied pan-somalism as the fundamental position of the govt which was horrendous. Somalis till today are still stuck in this failed identity game

The Islamic shariah law is god law right? so your state is god also, u punish and interfere if people commit sins when a state should only control people if they commit crimes against people. U literally punish people who don't believe, so your god is the state admit that at least.
I told u I adhere to secular humanist idealogy, but I am also a clannist because Somalia is currently a society based on clan politics, but once somalia start discussing idealogy, then clan allegiance are over, waxaa loo hubsiban doona what u believe in such as human rights vs shariah law. The shariah boys will be made up of all clans, the human rights boy a range of clans also. Elections should decide what Somalis support, not to have old men deciding for us.

Wow welcome back Cog, long time no see. What are u doing regulating laws for god? committing a sin isn't a crime against a human, it's a crime against god and it's not your role to play god. Somalia should be a country that stands for freedom of it's people not stand for a religion or ethnicity or other divisive matters.
