Plucking eyebrows haram but FGM halal

I got two questions:


Why has islam not got any instructions for fgm except “dont cut too much”?

And why is FGM not considered to be changing Allah's creation?

Women are told to not pluck, shave eyebrows and just not to change Allah's creation. But FGM is in the shafi'i and hanbali madhab obligatory and for hanifi and maliki Sunnah. FGM changes the creation of Allah swt

Well what she means I think is, in the west all female circumcision and not only the pharaonic one is considered female genitale mutilation (FGM).

There are several forms of female circumcision:
Clitoridectomy is the amputation of part or all of the clitoris or the removal of the clitoral prepuce. Excision is the cutting away of either or both the inner and outer labia. A third practice, Infibulation (or Pharaonic circumcision), is the paring back of the outer labia, whose cut edges are then stitched together to form, once healed, a seal that covers both the openings of the vagina and the urethra. Infibulation usually also includes clitoridectomy.
The third one is clearly forbidden in Islam and is the one done in Somalia

Also the least severe form of female circumcision is similar to male circumcision and only the Shafi madhab and some but not all Hanbalis see it as obligatory for women.

We just told you it is haram.
Only halal one is where you cut a bit of the labia excess skin off of the top. That isn't changing the creation of Allah.
Male circumcision also removes skin aswell and that isn't changing the creation of Allah.
Plucking eyebrows is changing the creation of Allah
the question is what kind of changing is natural and wanted by Allah and what kind of changing is unnatural and disliked to Allah, you go to Quran and sunnah for that.

Why is male circumcision halal whilst shaving the beard Haram.

Shaving the beard was outlawed to differentiate from the kaffirs at the time. If I recall correctly the hadith states be different from the polytheist as at the time they used to keep the ol moustache. That's why you see that god awful style of keeping the pubey beard but the moustache is shaved from some sheikhs.

There are many wacky hadiths that try and differentiate the believer from the kaffir. But I guess shaving the beard is changing the creation of Allah but circumcision aint?

The keeping of the beard and shaving moustache was to differentiate from kuffar who worshipped fire, but the ruling still pertains until today. For example praying after the time of fajr is not allowed as people who worshipped the sun prostrated to it while it was rising, despite the fact noone worships the sun today the ruling is still there. There are many other things in Islam like this, they have deeper wisdoms than just differentiating from the kuffar.

Also changing the creation of Allah in and within itself is not a sin, cutting hair and nails and getting surgery and circumcision is all fine, what is wrong is when you change a part of creation that is not supposed to be changed.

If Im not mistaken, only Shafi’i school of thought which somalis follow consider it Halal and the circumcision done is just removing little bit of skin, not the pagan shit somalis do.

No all the madhabs allow for it, Imam Shaf'i viewed it to be mandatory that's the difference.

There is benefit in it otherwise it would not have been mentioned by the prophet SAW and be viewed as a noble sunnah or mandatory in the case of the Shaf'i madhab. Read this for the answer to your question.

Islam also tells to cut our nails, remove armpit hair, shave pubes etc how come you don't consider it changing Allah's creation ? Men also are circumcised is this changing the creation ?

You need to revisit your assumptions regarding female circumcision as you're judging it based on the morality that you've adopted from your host country.

Unless you let go of those biases & preconceived notions about it you'll never be able to understand this topic. So if you're really interested then make the effort to look at learn this issue properly.

Girl idk , i pluck the excess hair around my eyebrows. I got bigger things to worry about in the realm of Islam. I honestly have no clue why Muslims fixate on that. Its like when the men put their pants over their ankles.... let's be serious.

Because lacnatullah is on the women who plucks her eyebrows it is a major sin
