s is my dad. He’s 46 years old and a father of 6, 3 of which are 14 years old and younger. In recent weeks we have noticed that he was losing an extensive amount of weight and looking more frail as each day passes.We eventually took him to the hospital and that was when we were told that he has bowel cancer after a colonoscopy to which the doctors discovered a large amount of bleeding from his bowel. He hadn’t had any other symptoms so bowel cancer didn’t cross our minds and at the hospital we were told the bleeding was possibly caused by haemorrhoids. We’re still awaiting for more news to unfold as this has been unexpected and a shock to us all. Unfortunately none of the news have been particularly positive and it’s been incredibly difficult for us, particularly my younger siblings, who were so used to seeing our dad be so energetic and playful, now look so vulnerable and in so much pain. Time is of the essence and we all feel incredibly helpless. we want him to get the best possible treatment there is but unfortunately we’re gonna need a little help when it comes to finance.
