Asc to all. Firstly, id like to say if you have a hooyo/aabo still in your life to just call them and say you appreciate them.

Someone who is beloved to me but isnt somali but an Asian Kenyan has sadly found herself in a position most people cant even dream of handling. Her mother died of cancer when she was only 12. This year, she was meant to be starting university taking the first steps toward an adult life but found herself dropping out due to the sudden deterioration of her only sister. At the exact same time, her fathers diabetes took a turn for the worse and was hospitalised. This year, first of ramadan, her sister tragically passed away and was declared brain dead. She was only 16 years old and starting sixth form. My friend is only 19 years old working full time and used to visit both hospitals every single day wishing and hoping that they would get better

Yesterday, her father passed away from complications to do with diabetes unexpectedly. Both her father and her only sibling passed within 3 months of each other. She has no family and became an orphan at the tender age of 19.

walaalyaal her story has me heartbroken. I have asked for permission from
her if I could post it on this site. She posted her sisters and mothers gofundme but did not update it to include her father since it happened so recently. All will go toward sadaqa jaariya and to help with the funeral costs she now has to prepare for the second time.

Whenever a Muslim is overwhelmed he should remember the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. His dad passed away before he was born, his mum passed away when he was 6 and then he lived with his Grandfather Abdul Mutalib but he passed away when the Prophet was 8.

By the age of 8, both his parents passed away, his grandfather and he had no direct siblings. Then he went to live with his uncle abi taalib who used to show him much compassion due to what nabi Muhammad ﷺ experienced at such a young age.

A Muslim should always be firm and not be easily swayed by lifes tribulations. Everything is written by Allah, and this life Is nothing but a test.

155. And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
156. Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return."
157. They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones.(Surah Baqarah)

Another hadith that makes you submit and be content with the divine decree and put your trust In God Alone.

Ibn Abbas reported: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said to me, “Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask from Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the nations gathered together to benefit you, they could not benefit you unless Allah has decreed it for you. And if the nations gathered together to harm you, they could not harm you unless Allah has decreed it for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.”
