It's why they always bring the women they consider ugly to group dates no matter how often you tell them not to, she turns around shrugging in utter hypocrisy "but she looks better then me", she has so much contempt for that woman that she is even using her to fish for compliments for herself at her expense.

I don't think they're being intentionally cruel tbh; girls just tend to be more PC (bc, ime, we've esp. been raised with that expectation). It's all about not wanting to come off as rude or impolite; not wanting to offend. (It definitely harms, more so than helps, in the long run tho).

True we are more PC. But the cruel parts comes in going out of your way to compliment something you find ugly. Especially when we know most of them will later laugh at the person.
It reminds me of the pro black melanin poppin crowd that later call people "burnt black gorillas" as insults when they're mad

It could be out of pity perhaps, but yh I agree- some are just fake and let their true/cruel feelings come out at a later date.
