The extension is welcomed and its locally funded, there is huge demand to increase student capacity, every year alot of students go else where because there is not enough space, I would personally suggest they get rid of the useless faculties like economics, politics and focus entirely on Agriculture, Engineering and Medicine in Caabudwaaq, let those who want to do accountant and history degree go to Jigjiga or Xamar.
Everybody and their mother wants a degree in political science because it sounds good when you are bragging about your life but in reality you could make a lot more money learning Engineering and Agriculture. There are 100s of eligible nurses or doctors but few positions to fill. They should look for a job that is rare among the populace so they have less chance of a competitor.
