You really underestimate the amount of data sharing done by Western governments as well their prowess in intelligence gathering.
Regardless, you would have to declare that you went to Somalia before you apply for a visa anyways or risk prosecution if they find out.
My advice is don’t be a nacas and try outsmart governments. They know more than you think.
They still scan your passport at immigration which means any passport control you ever go to will know you’ve been to Somalia.
Many governments will share your recent flight history to one another before you land and will see you Aden Adde flights.
So dodging the stamps may bring up more questions than it’s worth.

Bro you only get denied if you only own a Somali passport and are a citizen there, if you have another passport you will be ok.

You will probably have to go to an interview at a US embassy or consultate but you’ll 99.999% get your visa if you tell them it was to visit family. Plus their interviews are a formality if you hold a Western passport, it’s just to make sure you’re not a wacko.
You have a higher chance of getting caught for saying you didn’t go to Somalia than not getting a visa by being honest.

When we are traveling to the US we have the option to travel on esta visa.. It's very easy to apply for and get.
I know, my advice was for those from Visa Waiver countries like you and I.
The visas stamps are the same, only difference is the sticker. I got the circle and rectangle stamp from AY Airport in GLK in 2017.
Im more shocked at the amount of Reer PL acting like this is a development when it’s existed for years now.
Goes to show that the most hyper nationalist are compensating for something.
Mogadishu airport always gives the sticker, bit annoying and takes up a whole valuable page, I'd rather have that stamp, for convenience.

tbf not anymore. it is much less. since somalia had a electronic system where they scan passports western immigration know you went to somalia lol. people used to get a visa stamp on a paper.
Since 2015ish, there’s no point in avoiding a visa stamp when you go back home.
I also don’t see why people are scared of having a Somalia visa stamp, most countries expect you to have visited Somalia anyways by virtue of being Somali.
