Someone Should make a TikTok talking About how 1 in every 4 CHILDREN are raped in Nigeria. Pisses me off how idle Somalis are when foreign aliens try to tarnish our name, instead we make TikTok’s attacking each other.

“nearly 40% of girls reported their first sexual experience was rape or some form of coerced sex in Nigeria a study found”

ufff. These monkeys are fine when almost 1 in 4 girls are raped by Nigerian savages. Should we bring up the sub saharan monkeys who were on RAPE SPREES across central and southern Somalia under the guise of a peace keeping force.
I’d rather be a women in Somalia then a women in Nigeria.

The clout thirsty qurbo joog bastards on TikTok have r*ped our pr here's a half million like TikTok calling us pedos.
Its always Somali women exposing us like that, they have no concept of shame and astur, worst part is that the old man wasnt even crying about what theyre saying

Everytime something happens theres always a somali woman to make a tiktok video in english explaining it to non somalis

Exactly- And I need you to understand that the lack of GOV is why we have 0 rep to cry about. That is our achilles heel. Well before ticktok and instagram became common, there were countless stories of child marriages on the bbc because of Al Shaydaan and poverty. The president of the United States went on TV to say we are lawless with nothing. This rep you speak of has been destroyed by us decades ago. Rampant cases of child marriage and divorce are recorded via major news outlets and I can post it for you. Somalia isn’t unique in that regard. Recently, Sudan has also come under the firing line with a case of an underage girl being tried for murder as she killed her husband whom she was forced to marry. Online there has been cries of how barbaric their system is and I a non Sudani knows about this. But guess what? Due to international outcries, the girl isn’t being sentenced to death now.

This is rich coming from a ethnicity that’s currently being chased out of all sub Saharan nations. Yesterday it was South Africa and Botswana, today it’s Ghana and and the Benin. Nigerians are known as sex pests and savages who sell women especially in Ghana and South Africa. Just a few weeks ago Ghana had a massive protest against Nigerians (most specifically Christian’s because they were raping and committing prostitution and human trafficking)

You simply cannot hide state sanctioned injustice in this day and age. To think that this is unique to Somalis is a form of societal narcissism Somalis suffer from. I know of many cases of child marriages and R-words occurring in multiple African countries simply due to the news. I’ve said this multiple times, we live in a globalized world.

Most men are murdered via clan disputes which are already covered. That is how Somalia even got the rep ‘lawless’ from in the first place. Clan and Al Shaydan killing which mostly impacts men. This has been covered for the last 35+ years so it’s amusing that you think this hasn’t been covered. It’s the default thing that is covered with regards to Somalis. It’s the reason why we fled and why many of fathers have PTSD- it is the reason why our country is seen as a failed state. You don’t see it since men are the default for you. Something that has been the main coverage our country and you’re now saying no one talks about it?! I can’t believe you even tried to come up with that point.

Looooooooool demanding an actual functioning government to pass laws, gartay.

But we’re talking about a barely functioning government that is foreign funded, relies on foreign troops for its safety, has little to no presence in many parts of the country

idk what is about u guys and this performative nonsense
No one is saying they should enforce it, but to reject a law that protects children from pedophilia is disgusting and I completely understand the outrage. It’s the bare minimum that they could do. Somali men break all sorts of constitutional laws for their federal states but will deny children their rights.

There is a whole group of genuinely confused somalis who believe in this sort of stuff, that constant humiliation and airing out their business to not so wellmeaning people, will one day inspire change 💀 there are people in the comments dehumanizing somalis, stereotyping them, joking about Somalia being wiped off the map. None of these attention-seeking somali people would’ve tolerated other people being spoken of in this way.

They don’t even have enough sense to close the comment-section, qashin the lot of them
They suffer from internalised racism and are filled with self loathing. Probably come from dysfunctional households where parents failed to instil self respect in them. I’m convinced that this goes back to their upbringing because how else can anyone explain this level of self degradation?

These pathetic xoolo and their apologists can’t explain why they can’t be critical or speak on something without involving outsiders and allowing them to spew pure anti Somali hatred. Like you said, they don’t even delete the most dehumanising comments. Time and time again, they allow slum dwelling third worlders off all colours who sell their children to foreigners to take the high road and sprout vile things that wouldn’t be tolerated towards anyone else.

I have come to the conclusion that these chronic attention seekers simply want to be the gold medalists in their imaginary oppression Olympics. They’re in a competition for victimhood. Naag nools when dealing with their people but helpless miskeens needing to be rescued by ajanabis when it suits them. And to achieve this, they must paint a picture of utter despair and doom.

They will bleat about ceeb culture when called out despite the fact that they’re the only group of women from a conservative background who constantly speak openly about so called taboo issues on international platforms. They will say that Somalia already has bad PR due to years of conflict although other countries like Yemen, Congo, Sudan are also known for wars and famine. Yet, their diaspora actually lobbies for support to stop the conflict and they humanise their people. They expose foreign interference and push for moral support for their countries and people, painting a sympathetic picture so that outsiders can sympathise with them.

While our diaspora group go out of their way to add to the stereotypes and villainise their own people. That’s why others like Nigerians who not only have high rates of child marriages but whose men sex traffic underage girls on a massive scale feel emboldened to smear us.

All of our reputation and practices and everything are all dependant on the quality of life and effectiveness of government. If the quality of life is good then people dont feel the need to do such things and if the government is effective then also the people wont act as they can trust in the government to take care of affairs

It is still a big issue that somali parents xoog ma ku saarin teaching the language to the children, even if they are not the best at teaching they dont think its important to have a classes or something to teach. Lakn if im being honest i probably wouldnt have learned anyway

I do not dispute that many conversations needed to be had 'in-house'. But many of the conclusions are simply false. I also find it amusing that this shame is only felt when it comes to issues impacting women. I know for a fact that if I created a social media account in English talking about how relatives stole my house and the GOV did nothing about it-no one would bat an eyelid.

I do somewhat agree with you overall, but for me the conversation is nuanced as I am simply pointing out is that no third world country with a failed GOV will ever have a good rep. That alone is damning which many on here can't seem to understand. I want this to be a factor that Somalis take seriously so that we can change our society and image.

I felt the same way about the Camden scam thing 💀 why on earth were they posting back to back videos about somali scammers, they’re too desperate to go viral

and please lets not act like being associated with robbery and pedophilia is the same thing

Yemen isnt known for anything, they are rarely brought up in western discourse

One impacts women and children mostly and the other one doesn't. Obviously Pedophilia, r-word and DV is worse but unfortunately, crimes against women and children are worse but also more likely to never be taken seriously due people's obsession with the shame element rather than tackling It.
