somalis on tictoc bewilder me. people talk about somalis for clout, because they know somalis like the xoolo they are will swarm in hoardes to like/comment/interact and boost the profile, amplifying the messages (positive or negative, although its mostly negative) to a much wider audience, as the tictoc algorithm rewards engagement, good or bad, as it sees it as a content creator making stuff people are actively interacting with so assumes it needs a bigger audience. ignore these posts, especially the ajnabis who have somali in their captions. do you ever see a somali posting content then captioning it habesha, sudani, or even east african?
