have you ever caught your parents lacking?

i rarely see my parents being physically affectionate other than the times my dad tries to give my mom a hug and she pushes him away, saying "bax loqomo"
when my parents even hold hands, it's mind-blowing

based on what i've seen it's rare and understandable for muslim parents, including somalis, to do pda in front of the kids

Sad thing is that research say parents who are affectionate with each other infront of their kids raise better kids

I think somalis think pda or anything affectionate and emotional is sexual.

Lol can you differentiate between love and sex. I wouldn’t want my husband to not show me love during the day & only in bed.
