I've seen it myself. In Bosaso and Garowe. They're all over the place. Still vastly outnumbered by ethnic Somalis but noticeable. You'll sometimes see them in entire groups just sitting in a cafe and they tend to have their own neighborhoods. I do think it's an exaggeration that they're some MASSIVE swarm that's about swallow us. It's fearmongering like all the brouhaha people dust up around reer madowweyne but they are noticeable.

I hear stories how there’s a lot in bossaso and garowe. I am for stricter boarders. Natives should have a higher quality of life then ajanabis tbh

They have no real power, though. Like reer madowweyne and some foreign workers they tend to occupy the lower strata of society. Barbers, waiters, plumbers, laborers etc. I have yet to encounter one with any high-paying work position. That was all ethnics. Same goes for shop owners. I thought I finally met one in Garowe cos he called his shop "Abyssinia" something but he explained to me that he was from Galbeed and ethnically Somali.

I just checked my calculations were somwhat wrong turns out the Ethiopia will have 250 million by 2100. Eritrea will have 20 million. Somalia will have 80 - 90 million

They are already asking for political representation in hamar. Inshallah this won’t be the case soon. I wonder if 1m1v gets implemented would more oromos migrate to Puntland and vote for their favour ?

I have a “humane” way of getting rid of these Oromo. We claim the Socotra Archipelago and throw them all in there. And we all know Africans can’t swim so they’ll be cooped up in there forever.

I'd have gladly accepted Arabic as a lingua franca for such a glorious nation that could be a juggernaut on the world stage alongside the likes of India and China. 5,000 kilometers from north to south and east to west. Imagine hearing the Adhan across the whole country and seeing thousands of people praying side by side regardless of their ethnicity. Such a glorious nation, that must be what the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ envisioned for the ummah.
