Pakistani’s and Mexican marry back home. Why not suitable young Somali man and women?

Why do we look down on our people back home when it comes to marriage? Pakistani go back home and end up bringing back a whole person with them. My mexican friend from school went to mexico and brung her to America. I think we should do the same.

Us Somali especially our beloved sister are left to find a husband for themselves. We need to get it together Wallahi.

Overall, I’m exhausted looking for a wife in America. What steps should I take in finding love in somalia? What should I look out for? Where can I seek help?

Honestly I think it’s because there’s a lot of cases where you marry someone back home and then once they get married they show you another face or want to get divorced immediately after sponsorship. I’ve seen it happen to both men and women, it’s really sad.

that’s why I choose to marry a guy in the diaspora because I know he’s not using me for resources. Also it’s better for a man to have more leverage and wealth than a woman, and women who marry diaspora men are expected to provide for them and I think a true man would never allow that.

Honestly for me, it’s health reasons. You don’t know what kind of diseases somalis back home have and most don’t have a medical history that records what they have. I also want someone thats a companion, I want to laugh over memes, tik toks, discuss movies/anime’s/tv shows...that’s hard to do with fobs. I have a friend that’s married to a girl back home and while watching avengers he literally had to explain everything in af Somali. Pakistan iyo Mexico are reer magal...they are more in tuned with American pop culture somalis are far behind
