Somalis love to push leftist, identity and grievance politics in the west. They should be careful because what's good for the goose is good for the gander. It's extremely easy for anyone to bring these types of ideas to Somalia. Before you know it, Bantus will be marching for reparations in the streets of Mogadishu, the Madhibaan will be rioting in Hargeisa to be given special rights and Oromos will be in Bosaso demanding citizenship. Do not push for this crap in the west if you aren't prepared to accept it yourselves.

Interesting I just did quick research about the Madhibaan, one of you really need to make a detailed and informative thread dedicated to the origins and characteristics of each somali sub-clan.
