Somalis enslaved Somali Bantus. Do you agree giving them reparations? Many Somali Bantus are angry and hurt and want compensation for being or their very recent ancestors enslaved. I am sure the Madhibaan and Tumaal and Yibir and others also want compensation for the way Somalis have treated them today and historically. You treated them stray dogs for centuries. It was practically Apartheid for them.

Somalis love to push leftist, identity and grievance politics in the west. They should be careful because what's good for the goose is good for the gander. It's extremely easy for anyone to bring these types of ideas in Somalia. Before you know it, Bantus will be marching for reparations in the streets of Mogadishu, the Madhibaan will be rioting in Hargeisa to be given special rights and Oromos will be in Bosaso demanding citizenship. Do not push for this crap in the west if you aren't prepared to accept it yourselves.
