If she accepted the boy's advances they would attacked her for him being more noble than her and that is not right, and if she refuses they will attack her.
she's probably from a lower caste than him so they view it as okay since she deserves it for being bad in her past life

Stupid religion, I honestly don't understand this caste system at all. It is one of the biggest reasons India underperformed and never expanded or centralised by themselves once in their 5,000 years.
It’s really bizarre religion that’s hard to understand. It has cast system and if you born as untouchable you will always be untouchable no good job or life for you.

Yeah it severely limits people and forces them into a specific role in life. Imagine you are born into a family that makes shoes, your whole bloodline will be forced to only pick up the shoe making job, nothing else. There could've been so many great people in india but they were all born into the wrong caste to do anything.
This happens all the time in India; scroll down to watch a young woman getting her face smashed and stabbed to death for rejecting an older man. I may despise feminism, but India is one place where it is desperately needed.
Wtf is wrong with their people. What fuc*ing cowards. No country outside India can that many people walk past a 16 year old being stabbed in the face and do jack shit
This is not as extreme but this sort of reminds me of toxic parts of somali culture towards women e.g. FGM (cutting little girls vaginas to keep them sexually "pure") lower caste = prejudice clans system. I hope Somalis learn from others cultures mistakes and abolished/Get rid of all the misogynistic and problematic part in our cultural before we end up like India.
I also hope the government bans bollywood or any Hindi influence back home, them hindi and turkish movies have done enough damage encouraging the bleaching pandemic in Somalia.
