My friend who was in Jigjiga last year was telling me of bars you can walk into and openly drink alcohol. Amhara is doing everything it can to change the Islamic culture of Jigjiga! This is disgusting and I stand with walaalaheen in Jigjiga who we’ve mostly had cordial relations with. Where is Cagjar? The amhara pests are even taking a big number of local government jobs I heard

There were no Christians in the entire Eastern Ethiopia forget Jigjiga. Harar was 100 % Muslim with not a single Christian and now it’s 30 % Christian.

Yeah, I don't remember Burton mentioning any Christians in and around Harar during the mid 1800s. It was all Somali tribes, Hararis, Oromos (a good portion of whom were Waaqist) and that was mostly it. There were obviously some Xabashis here and there but they were not notable.

Amharas are slimy dogs I don’t suppose they do this in oromo region. This is direct result of having a guy like Cagjar in charge that betrayed all Somali clans in Somali region. If they do this to jigjiga they can do this to any Somali land in Ethiopia.
