You know what I mean. We have UAE, Qatar, and Turkey operating in Somalia as allies to different regions/clans.
I was always sceptical about them but I would pick Turkey over them ayrabs any day of the week. Turkey is benefitting but so are the Somalis in Mogadishu. Qatar, UAE and KSA are doing way more shady stuff.
UAE started over taxing goods coming to Bosaso port since they acquired it, the same can be said about Turkey with Mogadishu port/Airport but at the very least they had those upgraded at the rate we're going Garcad will be getting its port before Bosaso
