Only investments can save PM Khayre, not politics

Masha'Allah, you got a good head on your shoulders. The ones in the bars will be left behind, the future belongs to those who feel responsibility calling even from a young age. Don't worry about a think tank at your age, you can always join one once you graduate from college. Otherwise you'll be confused and frustrated, unless you have a solid understanding of business and politics and how that can be used to rebuild a nation.

In 10-15 years, we'll have a perfect meritocratic system and everyone will be able to run for office if they're the best ones, I'A.

Taxes are good, but not the best place to start. This is because you need a large economy to sustain the government completely off of taxes. Encouraging private enterprise amongst Somalis and large scale foreign investments are the only way forward in the short term, because the government is broker than broke right now, so they need to outsource certain sectors to the private sector due to low capital. The government should own some basic industries and corporations, but that can only happen if they get a large injection of foreign investments, whereby they'll have enough dollars from taxes + fees to start a national company that is fiscally sustainable, but will employ many Somalis. This is what Singapore has done. Their model is to run the entire country as gigantic private corporation. Each head of a governmental department is and in fact runs it as a CEO. They've combined the efficiency of private corporations and combined it with the policies of a social government. Perfect system for Somalia to adopt. But for the net 2 years, encouraging investments should be their only priority + regaining control of the monetary supply from the greedy al-kebab funding telecoms.

This is useful information and certainly the government should create its own mobile money wallet like zaad and evc plus etc. this is a good step, and if the project of large scale farming that sws is doing could be replicated over the south but is owned by somalis would be even more useful it would create jobs which creates indirect jobs and increase gdp and government revenue from taxes, somalia/somaliland etc will all be middle income nations soon In Sha Allah.

Why is PM Khayre working against the minister of commerce?

Everyone in Somalia, no matter what region, know that the local Chambers of Commerce' are the vipers pit where corruption, collusion, tribalism and blocking occur.

Minister Khadra Dualeh just made one of the most gutsy decisions; to demolish the old corrupt system and create a new Chamber of Commerce that the government can verify is inclusive to all Somalis, because an independent Chamber of Commerce will become a tool for corruption in a 3rd world state like Somalia.

Why is PM Khayre doing the work of the local monopolies, and embarrassing a sitting cabinet minister by ORDERING her to leave a conference abroad, just to account for herself. This couldn't wait until she's back a day or two later?

She made a decision in the interest of all Somalis to fight corruption, and she made the right move.

Great stuff from Minister Khadra Dualeh.

In an official decree issued on Monday, Minister Khadra Dualeh noted the need for setting up an inclusive chamber through election and end the culture of monopolizing public offices.
"Having seen the huge dispute and differences arising from the legality of the current administration of the Chamber of Commerce, and noted the complaints raised by numerous key business people and taxpayers, I have ruled that there isn't any legitimate administration for the Chamber until a legitimate elected officials take office."

Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire has summoned theMinister of Commerce and Industrialization of the Federal Government of Somalia Khadra Dualeh a day after she traveled to Kenya where she is attending a conference related to her ministry.
Sources at the PM's office said the minister was informed on Monday night to return urgently for a meeting with Mr. Khaire.
The PM seems to be unhappy with the minister's move.
"She is expected to return in the coming hours." the source who spoke with Somali Update in anonymity condition said.
In an official decree, Ms. Dualeh on Monday invalidated the existence of the disputed Chamber of Commerce and said she would set up new chamber which is inclusive for all Somalia regions.
But her letter was rejected by the current administration of the Chamber who presented an official recognition letter signed by the Prime Minister himself in March this year.

There's countless of threads made on the recent extraordinary rendition of Qalbi Dhagax, but I wanted to wait and to be rational, instead of approaching this with emotional hysteria and frenzy.

Here's my take on this:

I believe this was a deliberate tactic by certain factions, to turn Daroods against Farmaajo: especially their closest ally Madobe, who happens to be Ogaden and escaped habashi prison himself before becoming the leader of Jubbaland. This is mostly likely also done to turn everyone else against PM Khayre and to engineer an impeachment that'll have wide public support by the end of the year.

Farmaajo & Khayre would never do this willingly. They wouldn't commit political suicide like this after all the battles they've won, including the exceptionally well run campaign to win the Presidential election.

They're not responding, because they have to try and find the traitors in the midst, as this is a very serious situation that could have implications for every region.

I believe the silence is due to national security concerns towards and within NISA. NISA has always been HSM territory and far too many Damuul Jadiid scum are still left within its ranks.

This situation is textbook character assassination. They're trying to destroy Farmaajo's power base (Daroods,) and the very thing he won the election with;
Somaaliniimo - great hope since 1991 - bringing security to Somalia - standing up to habashi animals etc.

Watch out for any signs of loud MP's suddenly demanding this to be heard in parliament, to further solidify this attack in the national and international collective consciousness of Somalis. The goal of the saboteurs, will be to make as much noise and to capitalize on this in the shortest space of time, but this can easily go in the governments favor if the conspirators are found and named publicly.

Someone is playing a very very serious game, which will backfire.

I believe this has something to do with Gaas being in Saudi and all regional cabinets being summoned to ethiopia recently. It was unprecedented.

Timeline:

1. Regional ministers are "summoned" to ethiopia on the 12th of August.

3. Gaas and PL sides with Saudi.

4. https://www.somalispot.com/threads/saudis-plan-to-construct-garacad-port.29458/ (won't come to fruition of course, saudi's are known liars)

5. https://www.somalispot.com/threads/farmaajos-state-visit-reception-in-cairo.29500/ (BIG alarm for ethiopia, plans had to be put in motion)

7. 4 Days ago (This past Monday)

8. Two Days (or so) later, the kidnapping happens.

9. Fast forward to today. There's a blanket ban on all public statements while the hunt is on for the traitors within NISA
. This could result in the death penalty for the ones responsible, due to this action being an official act of treason against the Somali state.

President Farmaajo and PM Khayre have to keep a cool head and focus on getting business done. They can't allow themselves to be drawn into the almost gossip-y aspect of this saga. It's to throw them off their game.

This is the time to really boss up and show resiliency. Strength is the name of the game.

This issue's escalating very rapidly and reaching a point of no return for the current government.

If PM Khayre and President Farmaajo don't come out and publicly denounce the rendition of Qalbi soon, it'll cause a lot of problems, some that won't be fixable at a later date.

Whoever they're covering for it's not worth it, because it could possibly be the end of this administration within months, if they don't say anything in the next few days.
