I think this would help to grow the population of cheetah in Somalia. So keeping some cheetah and feeding them would actually benefit their growth. I would also do the same with ostrich also

Thats called domestication and thats the worst thing you can do if you want to raise the number of animals living in the wild, i think you're referring to national parks/reserve

Theres a reason we killed most of our lions/cheetah/leopards, somalis are a pastoral people so these predators are bad business, but also leopard skins were very expensive at that time

Get a Caracal they are actual larger house cats, Somalis centuries ago domesticated them and used them for hunting

Only downside is they cant miaw, they can only hiss so every expression looks agressive very hard to read into what the animal is actually saying
