We cannot afford to accept displaced Gazans. Get that through your thick skull. We will not play a role in their forced expulsion. They will effectively be rendered stateless and that would only make us complicit in the ethnic cleansing.Need more abstract thinking
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."Gazans ain’t going anywhere twerp they will win this war
The battle of mu'tah happened at the jordon river meaning the muslims had a large leeway to retreat and avoid destruction. However if for example the romans had come and brutally besieged the Madiinah then in that scenario to retreat or stay would both ensure destruction for the muslims - either they stay and all killed or they leave and their home is destroyed so they are forever fragmented. This is the situation of the Palestinians where both options will destroy them as a unified people. If we take in some of them but not all (because we dont have the recourses to accomodate millions of immigrants in somalia we are migrants as well) then we are only contributing to this destruction of their identity
In the Seerah, the Battle of Mu'tah was the first encounter Muslims had with the Romans during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. Near the end of the Prophet's life, Zayd ibn Harithah; the Prophet's adopted son, along with Ja‘far ibn Abi Talib and ‘Abdullah ibn Rawahah, were appointed as commanders. All three were martyred on the battlefield.
Command then fell to Khalid ibn al-Walid, who quickly realized the battle was unwinnable. With strategic brilliance, he organized a retreat to save the Muslim army from destruction. This quick thinking earned him the praise of the Prophet ﷺ.
We are not meant to throw ourselves into destruction or abandon one another.
Among the most isolated Muslim communities today are us, Somali are surrounded by stronger forces of kuffar and in a precarious situation. We must foster goodwill and build strong relationships with other Muslims for the sake of Allah and as a bulwark of unity and strength.
