One of Puntland's Ministers got triggered differently by Ahmed Fiqi

Here we go again, Mr opinionated going on another nonsensical rant, your pride and arrogance uproots your comprehension. I mere argued that PL has all of the hallmarks of a FMS like the Somali region, so don’t twist my words and add all the emotional babble. The fact of the matter is that PL is a FMS, they are an integral part of the country. They are not an independent entity, they receive their portion of foreign aid, developmental investments etc often from donors directly (under the banner of Somalia). And if they were to “declare independence” today, they would be in a perpetual state of stagnation, much like their northern neighbours. PL is not a superpower, they are not better than everyone else and they are not in a union with Somalia, they are apart of Somalia. So relax with that tribal nationalism, you sound like a broken record.

btw I must say, I’m surprised you know what a troglodyte is lol good lad.

That last comment smells like 💅 surprised you know what a troglodyte is kulaha :susp:

Your spelling, syntax and punctuation show you probably never read a book cover to cover, so I suggest you start reading more and leave the catty feminine behaviour to little girls unless you’re one yourself pretending to be a dude.

Did I hit a nerve 😂
Sounds like you’re projecting there lad. It’s 2025 sxb some people accept that now, you good.

This weaponisation of Somali nationalism to harm other Somalis and the characterisation of Ethiopia (a state with its own troubles) as a mortal enemy is quite unfounded.

Ethiopia is an expansionist state, The way it operates internally shows the modus operandi of its mindset. The charged language of “taking back” eritrea, a navy in the red sea, historical revisionism all point to this being a state incompatible with its neighbours. How is it “mischaracterised”

Do you think if they go through and take just asseb the problems they are distracting from just goes away? Do you not think they will conjure up a new manifest destiny?

Everything else you said seems to be logically argued but this point of softening the image of ethiopians is extremely flawed.

Truth be told….i don’t care about Eritrea or Eritreans that much….as far as I’m concerned they have been subjects of the Ethiopian emperor for a long time, their history is tied to Ethiopia, the opposite is the case for us. and for Ethiopia to have expansionist or irredentist policies towards eritrea is not all that surprising 🤷🏽‍♂️

I wouldn’t call it manifest destiny, it’s just the ambitions of Abiy Ahmed, who knows when he’ll kick the bucket or change tack, i suspect that if abiy Ahmed’s plans come to fruition he will start to look inwards, economic policies and stuff like that.

After all he could fail and all of it could go up in flames.
