how is it not secure? I'm pretty sure voting could be carried out outside mogadishu and puntland, galmudug and jubbaland could also get there votes done reliably as well as the other states, intact mogadishu would be the only real risk area

What about areas under al shabaab and areas which have been newly liberated.

areas under shabab probably won't vote unless they give them a secured region for voting booths although I'm pretty sure this is a minisucle amount anyways as shabaab docent control much, liberated areas should be good to go

this isn't and they control though, just the area they can attack, if they actually controlled land US would have bombed it into yesterday

both are pretty much nonexistent and not really relevant, defiantly not something that would affect an election
