This is so sad, Madoobe won with another landslide victory. Like 80% of the votes. This isn't a proper election, noone toured the regions or even the 'xafads' of kismayo like PL does when in election mode, it starts 6 months before. This is just a Kismayo thing.

I don't disagree they need 'military' person as president and they should focus solely on security as their top priority(since 98% of JL land is outside it's control. Kismayo is only 2% of the land mass) but this Madoobe is using the security situation as a card to extend his power. He has been there for 8 years and nothing has changed in terms of the security situation. He is still in Kismayo only. He will keep doing this for 50 years niyahow, if you don't do something about as Jubalanders.

How are you comparing a backward city state to puntland ?

It's better then anything else in the south today. It's got strong constitution you gotta admit that and reconcilation at a clan level plus 'endorsement' from all the ISIMO of that region, the real ones, not handpicked ones who 'play along with you for a check' and then 'abadon' you in a few years when someone else comes along lol.

It's quite stable politically JL, and to think Nabad n Nolal can achieve what Hassan Sheikh failed by bringing Barre Hiraale and violence is stupid don't you think. They just need to accept when all the dust settles, JL will return to what binds them as a state, their 'heeshish bulsho' since they all signed it so they know they need to return to it.

So that's why no jambal will work with states like that. It's not a miracle or their special, they just have something to revert to in a DISASTER. Those GM/HS/SWS do not have this bro and you know that and their bought by the highest bidder and rotated around like 'prostitute' for Mogadishu during election season. Politically instability is going to happen to any state with no reconcilation at a clan level and no shared constitution and 'shared policies' like 'federalism, somalinimo, regionalism' and political powersharing, economic sharing, security agendas, foreign policy and many other areas that unite people. PL/JL have achieved this.

JL is only missing actually 'moving' beyond Kismayo, nothing else and bringing in all JL regions into the fold. You can't have a government without a land you know that right? land is critical to everything, as long as JL territories are missing, dawladu waxba kama jiran waa runtada. It's a city state, I agree. But don't twist that and make it mean the 'state' is faulty like the SADE boys try to do, the leadership is not 'performing' his rule inaad tirahdo bay ahayd, not insult the long and hard years that it took to bring 37 clans together and sign a constitution covering all matters between the government and the people. It's legally binding document that will always be referred to in case anyone plays political instability card, DASTURKA HA LOO NOQDA IS THE WAR CRY IN ALL PL/JL disasters soo ma arag?
