They tend to be at the front tbf. I don't think they're bad fighters, just bad leadership with people like Qabiliste Bixi. They hold Xarardheere and Ceel Dheer along with Macawiisleey. Any division or eritrean trained soldiers came after them.

both cities Shabaab fled without a fight and there seems to be a lot of support from clans in those two degmos so they haven’t prob any launched an attack like in Galcad and Masagaway, Ruunirgood etc. I guess danab would be just as average if they didn’t have American air support.

Hopefully the new leadership can turn things around.
