I'm talking about Somali parents and our community condemning people that marry out, purely because of their ethnicity.

As the link states, Islamically you don't have the right to do that. So, for example if your father rejects an ajnabi muslim based on his ethnicity then he is doing something thats haram.

However if you don't want to marry someone thats a foreigner then that's normal. It's your own preference innit.
